Arthur Hughes

Arthur Hughes (1832–1915) was an English painter and illustrator associated with the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, known for his lyrical delicacy of color and drawing. His most celebrated works include 'April Love' and 'The Long Engagement,' and he produced over 700 paintings and 750 illustrations throughout his career. He died in relative obscurity in London's Kew Green in 1915.
