Bill Aronson

Bill Aronson is an American playwright, writer, and producer known for originating the concept of the rock opera Rent and co-creating the PBS Kids series Peg + Cat. He has written multiple short plays, earned five Emmy Awards, and is recognized for his work in musical theater and children's television.
