Burne Hogarth

Burne Hogarth was an American cartoonist and illustrator, best known for his dynamic work on the Tarzan comic strip and his influential books on figure drawing and anatomy. He also co-founded the School of Visual Arts in New York City and was a pioneer in the study of comic art as a serious artistic discipline. His teaching legacy continues to impact artists worldwide.
