Christian Lévêque

Christian Lévêque is a French hydrobiologist, oceanographer, and ecologist who served as a research director emeritus at the Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD). He began his career in Africa on multidisciplinary research programs on Lake Chad and in an OMS program against onchocerciasis, and later held senior environmental and research leadership roles in France.
