David Stark

David Stark is an American sociologist known for his work in economic sociology, organizational theory, and the study of post-socialist societies. He is the Arthur Lehman Professor of Sociology and International Affairs at Columbia University, and has also held positions at Princeton and other institutions. His notable publications include 'The Sense of Dissonance: Accounts of Worth in Economic Life' and his co-authored work 'Postsocialist Pathways.'
