Frederick P. W. McDowell

Frederick P. W. McDowell was an American literary critic and scholar known for his work on modern British fiction, particularly the novels of E. M. Forster. He taught for many years at the University of Iowa and authored critical studies including 'E. M. Forster' and 'Ellen Glasgow and the Ironic Art of Fiction'.
