Frederick Samuel Dellenbaugh

Frederick Samuel Dellenbaugh (1853–1935) was an American explorer, artist, and author known for accompanying Major John Wesley Powell on his second expedition to explore the Colorado River. Born in McConnelsville, Ohio, he assisted in mapping the river and painting landscape features of the Grand Canyon and Colorado Plateau that were difficult to photograph at the time[1][4].
