George B. Grey

Sir George Grey (1812–1898) was a British soldier, explorer, colonial administrator, and writer who served as governor in South Australia, New Zealand, and Cape Colony. He later became the 11th premier of New Zealand and played a major role in the colonial history of New Zealand and Australia.
