Grady Booch

Grady Booch is an American software engineer born on February 27, 1955, best known for co-developing the Unified Modeling Language (UML) with Ivar Jacobson and James Rumbaugh. He is internationally recognized for his pioneering work in software architecture, object-oriented design, and collaborative development environments, and currently serves as Chief Scientist for Software Engineering at IBM[1][8].
