Grant Goodall

Grant Goodall is a Professor of Linguistics at the University of California San Diego, where he directs the Experimental Syntax Lab and the Linguistics Language Program. He is an expert in syntax, researching how syntactic structures are acquired and interact with cognitive processes across languages including English, Spanish, and Chinese. Goodall is also a prominent Esperantist, serving as vice-president of the Esperantic Studies Foundation and as a member of the Academy of Esperanto.
