Jack Dongarra

Jack Dongarra is an American computer scientist and mathematician renowned for his pioneering contributions to numerical algorithms and software that have driven decades of extraordinary progress in high-performance computing. He is a University Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of Tennessee and a 2021 ACM A.M. Turing Award laureate for his work in numerical linear algebra and parallel computing.
