John Galsworthy was an English novelist and playwright best known for 'The Forsyte Saga,' a series of novels chronicling the lives of an upper-middle-class family. His work often explored social injustice and class divisions, and he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1932. He died in 1933 shortly after receiving the honor.
