Joy M. Reid

Joy-Ann M. Lomena-Reid, known professionally as Joy Reid, is an American political commentator, television host, and author born on December 8, 1968, in Brooklyn, New York. She is best known for hosting MSNBC's primetime show The ReidOut from 2020 to 2025, becoming the first Black woman to host a primetime news show on cable, and has written three books including Fracture and Medgar and Myrlie[1][2][3].
