Kamo

Kamo no Chomei (c. 1155 – 1216) was a Japanese poet and essayist of the late Heian and early Kamakura periods, best known for his wistful essays 'Hōjōki' (An Account of My Hut) and poetry collections. He is celebrated for his reflections on the impermanence of the world and the simplicity of a detached, hut-dwelling life.
