Martin Dean

Martin R. Dean (born July 17, 1955) is a Swiss writer and publicist known for exploring Swiss identity in a global and post-colonial context, drawing from his personal experience as the son of a Swiss mother and a Trinidadian father[1][2]. He lives and works in Basel, has published eight novels including 'Meine Väter' (2003), and was awarded the Gesamtwerkpreis of the Swiss Schiller Foundation in 1994[1][7].
