Michael H Glantz

Michael H. Glantz is an American climatologist and author known for his work on climate-society interactions, focusing particularly on El Niño events and their impacts. He has authored or edited numerous volumes, including 'El Niño: A Book of Fog and Fire' and 'Currents of Change: El Niño's Impact on Climate and Society'. He was the founding director of the Consortium of Military Climate and Disaster Source (CMCDS) at the NCAR Institute for the Study of Society and Extreme Events (SERE).
