Miriam Sagan

Miriam Sagan is a U.S. poet, essayist, memoirist, and acclaimed writing teacher born in Manhattan, New York, who lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She has authored over 30 published books spanning poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, including the award-winning memoir Geographic, and founded the creative writing program at Santa Fe Community College before retiring in 2016. Her awards include the Santa Fe Mayor's Award for Excellence in the Arts and a Lannan Foundation residency.
