Mohamed Haji Mukhtar

Mohamed Haji Mukhtar is a Somali historian, scholar, and writer who has taught African and Middle Eastern history in the United States, including at Savannah State University.[1][2][3] His work focuses on the history of Somalia and the Horn of Africa, and he is also known for advocating for the Maay-Somali language and other Somali dialects.[2]
