Paul Lauter

Paul Lauter is the A.K. & G.M. Smith Professor of Literature Emeritus at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and a distinguished, prize-winning scholar of English and American Studies[1][5]. He served as President of the American Studies Association and is the General Editor of the Heath Anthology of American Literature[4]. Lauter is also an activist who authored the memoir Our Sixties: An Activist’s History, reflecting on his social justice struggles in the 1960s[3].
