R G Haliburton

Robert Grant Haliburton (1831–1901), often known as R. G. Haliburton, was a Canadian lawyer, anthropologist, and historian who became a founder and vice-president of the Nova Scotian Institute of Natural Science. During his later years, he primarily pursued scientific and anthropological interests, serving as a commissioner in the settlement of Prince Edward Island's land question and holding the position of King's Counsel[1][4].
