Rene Cartry

René Cartry was a French anthropologist specializing in the study of ritual, sacrifice, and symbolism among the Mossi people of Burkina Faso. He contributed significantly to the anthropology of religion and edited or co-edited several scholarly works on African cosmologies and practices.
