Ricardo Sanchez
Ricardo Sanchez was a prominent Chicano poet, author, and activist known for his powerful and politically charged works that explored Mexican-American identity, social justice, and the barrio experience. He was a key figure in the Chicano literary movement of the 1960s and 1970s. His notable works include 'Canto y Grito Mi Liberacion' and 'Amsterdam Cantos'. He also edited the literary journal 'Atisbos'. He passed away in 1995.
