Robert Thomas Hill

Robert Thomas Hill (1858–1941) was a pioneering American geologist renowned for his extensive work in Texas, where he discovered and named the Comanche series of the Lower Cretaceous. He served as an assistant paleontologist and geologist with the U.S. Geological Survey and authored over 150 articles on geology, stratigraphy, and geography, significantly advancing the understanding of Texas's underground water resources and land formations.
