Sara E. Melzer

Sara E. Melzer is a professor of French and Francophone Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, specializing in 17th- and 18th-century French literature, with a focus on the Enlightenment, Diderot, and women's writing. She is the author of 'Discourses of the Fall: A Study of Pascal's Pensées' and co-editor of 'Rebel Daughters: Women and the French Revolution.' Her research explores the intersections of literature, philosophy, and gender in early modern France.
