SCHOENBERG
Arnold Schoenberg was an Austrian-born composer, music theorist, and painter, known for pioneering atonal and twelve-tone music. His works include 'Pierrot Lunaire' and 'Moses und Aron', and he authored influential texts like 'Harmonielehre' (Theory of Harmony). He fled Nazi persecution and settled in the United States, becoming a professor at UCLA.
