Tom Fields-Meyer

Tom Fields-Meyer is an American author, journalist, and former senior writer for People magazine, known for his critically acclaimed memoir 'Following Ezra: What One Father Learned About Gumby, Otters, Autism, and Love from His Extraordinary Son,' which was a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award. He has written for major publications including The New York Times Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and The Los Angeles Times, and co-authored 'Uniquely Human: A Different Way of Seeing Autism' with Barry M. Prizant. Fields-Meyer currently lives in Los Angeles, where he teaches in the UCLA Extension Writers' Program.
