Tupera Tupera

Tupera Tupera is a Japanese creative duo consisting of Tatsuya Kameyama (born 1976 in Mie Prefecture) and Atsuko Nakagawa (born 1978 in Kyoto Prefecture), who began their activities in 2002. They are renowned for humorous, colorful, and highly original picture books such as 'Polar Bear's Underwear' and 'Face Notebook', while also working across illustration, crafts, workshops, art direction, and animation. Their books have been translated and published in numerous countries, and they have received awards including the 2012 Japan Picture Book Award Readers' Prize and the 2014 Prix du Livre Jeunesse Marseille.
