Victor Papanek

Victor Papanek was an Austrian-born American designer and educator, known for his pioneering work in socially responsible and sustainable design. His influential book 'Design for the Real World' (1971) critiqued consumerist design and advocated for designs that serve social and environmental needs. He taught at several institutions, including the University of Kansas and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.
