Virginia Arnold
Virginia Arnold was a prominent suffragist and National Executive Secretary of the Congressional Union for Woman Suffrage, known for her leadership in organizing pickets, including the famous 'Kaiser Wilson' banner protest at the White House, and for her role in the Watchfires for Freedom campaign. She was born in North Carolina and became one of the first women arrested and jailed for suffrage activities in 1917.
