Yoshio Kuramoto

There is no known author named 'Yoshio Kuramoto'; the prominent physicist associated with the Kuramoto model is Yoshiki Kuramoto (born 1940), a Japanese scientist at Kyoto University specializing in nonlinear dynamics. Yoshiki Kuramoto formulated the Kuramoto model, discovered chimera states in coupled oscillator networks, and developed the phase approximation method for weakly coupled oscillators.
